Our curriculum includes 13 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, an honors math program, and more than 70 courses and electives. Whether students are passionate about STEM, the arts, or humanities, they’ll find opportunities to explore their interests and build a strong academic foundation.

 Upper School students have the opportunity to dive into cutting-edge technology and innovation through courses like AP Computer Science, App Development, Digital Fabrication, and Python Programming. Our FIRST Robotics competition team allows students to apply their skills in a collaborative, competitive environment, fostering creativity and problem-solving.

Arts, Athletics, and Traditions

Dawson’s vibrant arts program offers 16 classes, including advanced study opportunities, allowing students to express themselves creatively through theater, visual arts, and music. Our athletic program, with 19 sports offered, teaches teamwork, discipline, and leadership both on and off the field.

Annual traditions like Dawson Fest, winter carnival, homecoming, and prom create lasting memories and strengthen the sense of community within the Upper School.
